With the COVID-19 Pandemic giving us the lesson to live healthier lives even while at work, a certain international public health organization is leading by example as they intend on opening a gymnasium and roof deck in the west wing of its Manila office.
In collaboration with other established designers, ArkiNovus was tapped by this organization to lead the way and design for them these new amenities in January 2022. And as output, we provided the organization with a design that maximizes each space for fitness, while maintaing its commitment to sustainability.
The gym features a complete set of exercise equipment placed strategically across the floor to maximize productivity when exercising. These equipment include treadmills, air bikes, training cycles, climb hills, punching bags, leg presses, benches, dumbbell racks, and multi-station machines.
Separate showers and changing rooms for males, females, and persons with disabilities are also provided. And after a hard workout, end-users are free to relax and enjoy the view of Manila through the roof deck next to the gym.
