The Courtyard is Nike’s newest basketball park fittingly located in the hustling and bustling Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. With an area of 2,182 square meters, this park was built to promote Nike’s advocacy of providing safe spaces and equal opportunities for female ballers and the disabled in sports.
The two FIBA-regulation basketball courts features Nike Grind, a flooring material made from recycled foam, rubber, and fabrics from over 30,000 pairs of shoes. This makes the Courtyard the first park in the Philippines to feature Nike Grind as its main component for a safe, sustainable, and fun way to play the country’s most loved sport. The park also has a half-court for 3X3 games and practices, male and female restrooms and showers, an observation deck, and a park-wide floor mural that reflects the colorful identity of the Filipino.
With its opening just in time for the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila, ArkiNovus collaborated with Nike Philippines to make the Courtyard possible, finishing the Design and Construction process in just five months.
The Courtyard by Nike is located in 25th St. Cor. 7th Ave., BGC, Taguig. Reservations to play in the park are free of charge in the Nike app.
